FDNY - Midtown Madness

I came across the Fire Department of New York's Ladder Engine No. 24 on a call the other week. I was taken by the Texas Longhorn horns on the front of the fire engine. I also snapped a shot of their patch which was on the side of the vehicle.

Brother Jimmy's is located just outside the southwest entrance to New York's Penn Station on 8th Avenue and West 31st Street. They've got great food, a friendly, fun staff and you'll always meet interesting people at the bar whether they are waiting for their train or waiting for a Pink Floyd concert at the Garden.

Real Good Girls of the Jersey Shore

I ran into the "Real Good Girls of the Jersey Shore" the other day while I was walking in the West End portion of Long Branch along the Jersey Shore. Unlike their television counterparts, these girls don't drink, they listen to their parents, and they're saving themselves for marriage. They go to church every sunday and in their spare time, they read books to the blind!
